Before we proceed, let's take a moment to watch this video of Beyonce performing the National Anthem on Obama's 2013 Inauguration:
Apparently, her amazing performance was reported to be pre-recorded according to a spokeswoman of the U.S. Marine Band. Later that day, another spokesperson of the U.S. Marine Band backed the statement up by saying that both parties had not had any chance to rehearse together and that no one is in a position to judge whether or not the performance was pre-recorded.
While the performance was regarded fantastic and sensational, social media were full of people complaining and bashing on Beyonce's performance. They started to compare Beyonce's performance to Kelly Clarkson's who sang "My Country, 'Tis of Thee".
Putting aside the argument; whether or not Beyonce used a pre-recorded track of "Star Spangled Banner", let us go back to focus on her performance. If we were being logical, it does not matter if she used a pre-recorded track instead of singing it live. At the end of the day, she lip-synced to her OWN voice, anyway (if she really did). She did not use any other singer's voice and the world knows what Beyonce is really capable of.
Even if she did lip-synced, she must have a good reason why she did that. Beyonce did this so that she can deliver a great performance - so that nobody is disappointed. Nobody is perfect, even a diva.
