Inherit The Stars UK Tour January 2014

Sheffeld's (UK) emerging alternative/metal-core outfit 'Inherit The Stars' are excited to announce details of their debut tout in January 2014. Titled the 'Ground Zero' tour, the band are set to bring their explosive sound to venues across the UK.

After kicking off their opening night with a headlining home town show at The Leadmill in Sheffield, Inherit The Stars are then joined for the remaining dates by UK alternative rockers 'Circle Of Reason', who shall be releasing their 'Theme Amongst Thieves' video single in January.

Inherit The Stars are most recognisable for their powerful riffs, lulling string arrangements, adrenaline-filled synth lines and anthemic choruses. Boasting a debut album produced/mixed by Jim Pinder at Treehouse Studio (Fightstar, Rise To Remain, While She Sleeps), 'We Were Made To Walk The Skies' was digitally released in May 2013 and earned positive attention from rock/metal critics for their genre pushing sound which takes elements of post-hardcore and alternative rock gelled with metal and a dose of punk pop. Equally championed by alternative rock and metal press and radio around the world, Inherit The Stars released three video singles as part of their apocalyptic themes Orbis Trilogy.

2014 shall see one of Britain's fast rising young rock bands take on a series of UK tours and release new material in the summer.

A Great Big World: Say Something

Sorry not sorry that this post is going to get really personal. Hopefully, you guys won't mind.

A Great Big World is an indie pop duo from New York consisting of singer-songwriter, Ian Axel and Chad Vaccarino. Both of them are graduate from New York University studying music business.

Say Something is their debut single from their first album Is There Anybody Out There?. The single was released in early September while the album will be available next year. Say Something was actually featured in Ian Axel's solo album and was released as the first single in February but did not receive much publication.

click to listen to Say Something by A Great Big World:

The song is really simple. The only instrument used are vocals and piano accompaniment. There is also strings accompaniment playing mostly harmonising drone towards the end mostly in the chorus. The chord progression is also quite simple. All in all,  Say Something is simple.

However, this song has moved me in all ways possible. Say Something has moved me emotionally and physically. Every time I hear this song, something in me is touched and moved. I cried like a baby when I first listen to this song. Ian Axel vocals is just so full of emotion that you can actually feel it. You can feel what he felt and what Say Something is meant to be if it is an emotion.

In fact, Christina Aguilera heard Say Something and fell in love right in that they re-recorded the song to feature Christina Aguilera's vocal harmonising to Ian Axel.

click to watch A Great Big World ft. Christina Aguilera performing Say Something:

Say Something was also featured in So You Think You Can Dance 2013 by choreographer Stacey Tookey. The piece was performed by winner Amy Yakima and all-star Robert Roldan. The piece was so beautiful. It even made Paula Abdul teared up! The dance tells a story about two best friends and the guy fell in love with the girl without her realising. And when he decided to let go, she realised that she loved him too all along. If you have been in this situation, you will understand all the emotions when you watch the piece..

So, there you go guys. Say Something is the song that is the world to me since September. I fell in love right in and I can not even expressed how much I love this song without being emotional and started sharing personal details about myself and being extremely subjective, which I'm going to avoid for now.

Let me know in the comments below, what song has moved you guys recently? Or what is the ultimate song that will make you feel ultimately different when you hear it? Share and I will listen to them and feature it here!

Lily Allen: Hard Out Here

The British sarcastic sweetheart is back in the business! Lily Allen came out with her new video clip for her single, Hard Out Here on November 12 this year.

One thing that sparks the most is the subtle change of genre that Lily Allen experienced in her new single, Hard Out Here. Lily Allen that we used to know usually came out with indie pop music. Now, she is moving with the trend in the music industry and joined in the electronic sides.

Hard Out Here sounds definitely more electronic than Allen's previous work. Most identify it as synth pop, her new single has more of a dance beat and a lot more electronic sounds being incorporated in the music. The song has a quirky sound to it that is closely related to Lily Allen's work and the beat is very nice. She uses the electronic sounds really well since it does not sounds irritating or hides her voice in any way. And, as always, Lily Allen's vocal is still distinctly sweet.

Lily Allen is also known for her explicit lyrics and she never feel afraid to throw it all out there. Good thing that has not changed even a little bit. The opening of the music video is a huge parental advisory explicit content notice. Her lyrics is still slapping people on their face, as always.

Hard Out Here is talking about how the world is still full of injustice and women is still pretty much discriminated even though it is not as harsh as decades ago. In the music video of Hard Out Here, Lily Allen tried to depict the pressure and expectations that the music industry puts on you as they try to objectify women as this human beings who dance provocatively to please people.

The lyrics of Hard Out Here also came across to the listener really clearly. Lily Allen is really showing her disagreement and making sarcastic social commentary in the lyrics. Such as in one of the verse:
You're not a size six, and you're not good looking
Well, you better be rich, or be real good at cooking
You should probably lose some weight
Cause we can't see your bones
You should probably fix your face or you'll end up on your own
Or in the bridge:
Inequality promises that it's here to stay
Always trust the injustice cause it's not going away
Honestly, this is always a good thing to have in the music industry. Someone who picks up the wrong things that are happening (for maybe too long) in the industry and express it in a song: an entertainment and eye-opener all in one! Kudos to Lily Allen!

Malice & Mario Sweet, Enjoy:Like:Love

Being in one of the most dynamic part of the music industry, Malice and Mario Sweet; the married couple who share the greatest joy in love and music, is ready to give us a fresh air to breathe.

July 2013 was a momentous month for the Sweets, Malice and Mario, who are based in Seattle. After four years of marriage, the couple welcomed their first child, a healthy baby boy, on July 4. Now, they are ready to accomplish another family milestone, the release of Enjoy:Like:Love, their second studio project.

The newest album, Enjoy:Like:Love features works produced by great names in hip-hop and R&B music such as Jake One, Tall Black Guy, Evil Needle, and Vitamin D. Also, guest appearances by Choklate, Uwour Arunga (Macklemore and Ryan Lewis), Raz Simone, Royce The Choice and Isabella DuGraf. The album also has gained many acknowledgement and been played in various radio stations in the USA. Enjoy:Like:Love has also been featured in various publications from Kevin Nottingham, Bama Love Soul, Soul Bounce and KIRO MyNorthwest.

click and listen to singles from Enjoy:Like:Love

Enjoy:Like:Love is inspired by the carefree nature and outsized characters from the 80s, ranging from neo-soul to candy-paint funk to bouncy hip-hop to smooth grooves. All the songs came from a state of happiness: happiness with life, love and being in love.

Indeed when you listen to the new songs, they have got all the happiness for you to listen. The album offers you pure joy and great music. You can definitely hear the neo-soul and funk, the hip-hop and the smooth grooves all blend in together cleverly well. It is the kind of classic RnB that we have been missing these days. The RnB where you can dance your body to the groove and the beat but at the same time sing along and feel every lyrics.

The vocals of Malice and Mario blend very nicely. Malice has this sweet voice with R&B characters that sounded great when she sings with her vibrato and singing melisma phrases. Mario, who is also a creative member of The Physics (Seattle based hip-hop band), has his own unique voice that compliment Malice's. It is real smooth with groovy quality. The couple sounds incredible together.

What is also unique about Enjoy:Like:Love is the title of some of the songs. They put musicians' names and mixed up their spelling. It might sound very random but it feels like each songs reflects either the character or the music of these names on the title, especially on Eddee Murfy. I think that is a brilliant idea!

Lastly, the foremost man and wife of the Northwest R&B, Malice and Mario Sweet are proud to announce that their sophomore album, Enjoy:Like:Love, is available for stream and purchase at MaliceMarioSweet.com

Go and grab the new album and let yourself enjoy the music, like their album and love them!

Lady Gaga - Aura

Following the fame of Lady Gaga's first hit single, Applause, recently Lady Gaga released a lyric video for Aura.

Aura is her second hit single from the newest album, ArtPop. It was written in 2012 by Lady Gaga under a working title, Burqa. Aura was produced by the famous, Zedd and Infected Mushroom. So you can expect the electronic sounds and dance breaks coming in the song.

click to watch:

The lyric video of Aura is combined with the movie, Machete Kills. I really don't want to talk about the movie but to be honest (at first I thought it was a joke). Apparently, Machete Kills is a real movie but we can set that aside.

I'm going to be blatantly honest here. The first time I heard Aura while watching the lyric video, all I can think of is: "What?!"

Aura is a good song, legit. However, to fully get the gist of the song, you have to listen to it more than once (especially if you listen for the first time in the lyric video). In the lyric video Aura is cleverly blend with clips and sounds from Machete Kills. Then again, I believe it will sound a lot better when you listen to only the song and not people screaming "MACHETEEE!!!"

I think 'speak-singing' is becoming more popular in pop scene in 2013 (you know, when you speak on one pitch and change the pitch by a semitone or one tone, as if you're singing but you are not). Aura has some parts that are speak-sang. The song overall is very catchy. The beat is great, the electronic sound is not as generic as other pop songs and sounds very Zedd-like. It is a very good club song to dance to and a good club song to sing along to.

Above all, Aura has a great message behind the lyrics. The Mother Monster is encouraging us to look beyond the outside by saying your aura is more important. Also, that women can make her own choice and nobody can patronise women because they are important behind all the covers.

Four gold stars to Lady Gaga!

What do you think about Aura? Or do you like the music video? Tell us in the comment below and also  recommend us music to talk about. We'd love to hear it from you, too!

Britney Spears - Work B*tch

The Queen of 90s pop is trying to take over the pop chart again with her new hit single, Work Bitch.

The single was released on September 16, 2013 and the music video came out earlier this month. Work Bitch is Britney Spears' second single in 2013. And, it has topped the Billboard Dance/Electronic chart on number 4.

click to watch:

Britney Spears' music has changed compared to her early years in the 90s, from bubblegum and ballad pop to dance and electronic music in the 2000s.

Work Bitch especially sounds more house-pop and electropop like compared to her previous songs. This song is really appropriate for clubbing with its appropriate dance break similar to other clubbing songs nowadays.

Sadly, Britney did not really sing and let her fans listen to her iconic pop vocals. You can only hear her sings chorus and bridge with very limited range and sounded like auto tuned. Other than that, you can only hear her rapping- well, I don't really consider it rapping because she just 'sings' the chorus like a spoken word (like a recitative but not quite).

The lyrics to Work B*tch can be seen as very inspirational. Basically, Britney is preaching that in order to have a glamorous life, you have to work, bitch. Which is very true, of course. However, check out this lyrics:

You wanna hot body, you want a Bugatti
You want a Maseratti, you better work bitch
You want a Lamborghini, sippin' martinis
Look hot in a bikini, you better work bitch
You wanna live fancy, live in a big mansion
Party in France, you better work bitch

I'm not even going to argue about right or wrong because this is so legit true. And somewhat, she is quite a living testament of this lyrics too. Remember when she slips off and had her life messed up? She get through that because she work, bitch. Look at her being so hot dancing on the video of Work Bitch, she earned it because newsflash sister, it ain't came overnight.

Rumours are some people have been arguing that the lyrics are way to materialistic and it seems like the only reason for people to work is to earn all these material things. Also, in the music video, Britney Spears is seen to have all these women in leash and she keeps whipping them. Some of music critics and her fans were quite uneasy watching it because it portrays women as slaves or dogs (even though bitch is literally a female dog).

All aside, Work Bitch is a good clubbing song that you can dance to with a great beat to be played in a club. However, if you think you will hear her properly sings, this song might not be for you.

Do tell in the comment section below: What do you think of Work Bitch, in terms of music, lyrics, and music video? Let us know!

Karmin Goes Acapella

Acapella is the newest single from Karmin, the duo from Berklee College of Music in Boston. From the title, you might expect the music to be acapella literally. But, no, it is not acapella. (Yes, it is full band)

Acapella official music video was released last July and is the first hit single from their newest studio album, Pulses.

click to listen:

You might notice something looks different in the music video. If it is not obvious enough, Amy's hair is now blonde! So please, go ahead and comment below telling us whether you like the hair brown or blonde better ;)

On to the actual song, it is very very catchy. The catchy 4 bars bass riff in the beginning really drives the song. The beat is just great to dance to. The melody lines are catchy and singable, which are always a plus in pop culture. Amy's voice sounds really distinct and the way the verse combine a little bit of rap and a little bit of singing is just "so Karmin".

You might think, why Acapella? If you listen closely to the chorus, acapella in this context is being single. Away from the bad boyfriend and going 'solo' but still awesome, just like acapella music. As it is in the lyrics, "You and me a duo, watch me hit it solo. I'ma do it acapella"

If you want to hear the acapella version of Acapella, we have that too! Karmin and Mike Tompkins (who is their opening act in summer tour) joined forces and recorded the acapella version

click to listen:

Acapella is on number 72 of Billboard Top 100 and Pulse is released this September.

Sara Bareilles' Brave Come Back

After what seemed like forever, Sara Bareilles is back!

To fill you in: approximately 3 to 4 months ago, Sara Bareilles released her first single music video, Brave. The song was written by Bareilles together with Fun lead guitarist, Jack Antonoff. You can actually hear the Fun influence in the way the chords are played on each beat. Interestingly, the inspiration of the song came from a friend of Bareilles who struggled to come out.

click the video to watch and listen to Brave:

The song is very upbeat and up-lifting. It is fun, catchy, with great beat and melody lines. More importantly, it has a great message plastered in the lyrics that anyone can relate to. Be brave in anything that you do, speak up and let the world hear you. It gets better.

A lot of people has made Brave an unofficial LGBT campaign anthem (if you like to call it that way). It might sound like another pop song but the power that lies within this is definitely stronger.

This former judge of Sing-off's new album in July this year titled The Blessed Unrest. Check it out!

Arctic Monkeys: Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High

(Probably) The hottest man in indie music industry and his company is back everybody! Alex Turner of Arctic Monkeys is back looking like a 70s rock badass in the newest official video clip of Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?.

watch and listen here:

This is the third single from their latest album, AM. Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High? music video was directed by Nabil who also did a music video for Foals. (It is indeed a small world)

People have been having different opinions about this song. Some love it, some hate it. I personally love this song. It might sound a bit monotone (for some people), but the consistency of beat, the catchy chorus, and the riff reels you in. The minor sounds set perfectly to the sadness/desperation of the lyrics that is also told in a great story in the music video.

Arctic Monkeys is currently on tour for their newest album, AM. Support by watching them or buying their music!

Review: Burn by Ellie Goulding

This cute British singer with wispy voice made her comeback last month with new video clip for her new single: Burn.

Ellie Goulding is best known for her genre, mixing dance beat with techno, electro-pop and sort of alternative sound that works just so well with her unique voice.

watch the music video here:

First thing to recognise is that this song is so very catchy. Once you listen to it, I almost guarantee you will not be able to resist the urge to hum it. The beat is up, makes Burn a good song to dance. But it does not sound wild or anything too up-lifting. Burn has the beat, is catchy, and at the same time very chilled.

By one month and a few weeks after the released of Burn official video clip, this song has darted its way up to the number 1 in UK pop chart. Making it and official summer anthem, as it is just damn appropriate.

What makes this song different is (other than Goulding's one-of-a-kind voice) the sort of syncopated rhythm that chants throughout the song. It reels you in together with pretty clean lyrics (respect). Also, you can actually sing along to this song! (She does not overdo any ad-libs, back vocal, or crazy improvisation of melody, making this a singable summer song with a melody line)

Burn is on sale, available on iTunes and GooglePlay.

Tell me what you guys think in the comments below! Also, what other summer song have you been loving so far? (might be up for a late-summer playlist)

True Love - P!nk ft. Lily Allen

The third single from P!nk newest album has come out with a music video! True Love is a work of art from P!nk and Lily Allen, hit play and we will begin the review.

Where do we start? As from the video, similar to her previous single Just Give Me a Reason, P!nk featured her husband, Carey Hart, and their lovely daughter, Willow Sage Hart. The music video has good varieties in it. We can see The Harts as a family, we can see Pink and Carey looking like a very cute couple, and also Lily Allen.

Lily Allen sang the bridge part of the song, which is not that long. This resulted in fans wanting to hear her more in the song. Well, what can I say, this is a love song about Pink and Carey. Even though Lily Allen's voice is just so so beautiful, it would not go with the concept. So, it might seem like a right choice.

The song itself is really, really catchy. Pink is a pop rock singer and this is a love song that is just right in the pocket. Pink is known for upfront lyrics so even in her love song, there are some evidences of her trademark too.
"At the same time I wanna hug you, I wanna wrap my hands around your neck, you're an asshole but I love you" - Pink (True Love ft. Lily Allen)
Isn't she just brilliant? True Love is a love song that is not mushy-gushy and try-hard-to-be-cute. There is something about the way she sings it, the music and the lyrics joined together that makes this song believable. You would believe that love and romance is this way. It is not all that cute, it has some hard edges in it. And you don't have to be all ballad and slow about it!

Overall, this is a great song kudos to Pink! (Lily Allen too)

What do you guys think about this song? Hit the comment section below!

Paper Doll by John Mayer

John Mayer came out with his newest single Paper Doll from a brand new album Paradise Valley!

I'm personally sort of excited for this album because he is SORT OF back! Yep, I think the old John Mayer is gradually seeping in to his blood and soul once again morphing into the John Mayer that we used to know and I am quite happy with that!

Remember how country his previous album sounded?

This single is less country than any of his song in "Born and Raised" and it is just a simple, lovely acoustic song with his voice and mainly his guitar. If anything, I would think Paper Doll sounds more similar to Mayer's songs from "Battle Studies".

Which is slightly not the John Mayer in his early albums, but is good enough.

The riffs from his guitar sounds less country-fied which is making me feel really good. Mayer's voice as always is really beautiful (which might be the only reason why I listened to Born and Raised album). The song is overall mellow, which is how he always sounded since Battle Studies.

Appearance-wise, still looking pretty country but at least he cut his hair and lost the beard. He's wearing poncho in the cover which is slightly weird because when he was in SNL with Frank Ocean, he dressed like a normal person.

I am pretty optimistic about his new single, Paper Doll and his new album, Paradise Valley. How about you?

PARADISE VALLEY is will come out on 13th of August 2013!

*sorry for being so critical, he's one of my favourite musician and I really want him back as good or better*

Billboard Top 100 (Top 5)

Uno : Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke featuring Pharrell and T.I.

If anything, this is the hottest, greatest tune this summer! I'm so glad this finally peaked the chart even though it's a little bit late (due to the music video being vulgar and all that) but this song is just so so good!

Dos: Can't Hold Us by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis featuring Ray Dalton

2013 could be this guy from Seattle's year for real. The Heist, his album with producer Ryan Lewis, are bursting to the top and gained all the popularity it deserves. Can't Hold Us is a hip hop summer soundtrack, lyrics and music-wise.

Tres: Get Lucky by Daft Punk and Pharrell Williams

These French guys have been rocking the music industry from 1993 and 10 years later, they released the chart topping hits Get Lucky that every one has been waiting for. Yet again, the succeeded. Summer appropriate? Of course it is! We're up all night to get some and get lucky!

Quatro: Mirrors by Justin Timberlake

If you haven't heard this until today, I suspect you've been living under a rock. The newest love hit from Mr. Timberlake from his fresh album 20/20 has been topping the chart for couple of months. A great love song for 2013 summer and a great love song dedicated to Timbelake's grand parents.

Quinto: Cruise by Florida Georgia Line featuring Nelly

A mixture of country, rap, hip hop and RnB, Cruise is one heaven of a mixture. At first it will leave you feeling weird and asking yourself, "What was that?" but after a few listen you'll begin to think that the mixture is quite a breakthrough and it is not that weird after all. It is something.

Any comments about the tracks, guys? Let's turn the comment section into a great discussion/ramble zone!

Catch of The Day: The Sunset Strip Club

Strip Club? Yes! :P

The Sunset Strip Club is an awesome indie pop/rock band based in Nice, France and is of 4 young men from England.

Joe Nicholson, Damo, Chris and Simon were high school best mates from Kingston upon Hull, The United Kingdom. They all have the same passion for music and started to jam together and ended up performing on gigs around the country.

Good for us, their music pleased the ears of managers, labels and publishers. Before they knew it, they had the pleasure to go on tours with Florence and The Machine, Little Comets, The Automatic, Orson, The 1975, and Peter Andre!

One "eureka" moment was all it takes for them to decide that they are going to get away from the grey skies to enjoy the glamour and glitzy life of the French Riviera. They all moved to Nice, France and since then they have been performing as party band, producing one EP of 5 songs, and touring the Europe and around.

The Sunset Strip club described their music as "radio friendly pop that sounds new, exciting and fresh, combining the poeticism of Dry The River with The Killers-esque instict".

Einsten's Theory (their first hit single) and Speak Slow, definitely has been influenced by The Killers. It is the signature pop-rock single with catchy chorus that you can just blast off and dance to. All their songs' riffs hooked you from the first time you listen to it. It is so upbeat, so happy and a great summer theme song for young people. Their music is still a fresh pop-rock music with a little bit of weight, not just another dance-happy-pop-music.

If you like more slower and mellow song, opt for A Million Eyes that sounds contrast to the previous songs.  The beat is steady, still with interesting riffs and you can just listen to the lyrics while contemplate about life in a deep psychological/philosophical moment. One thing if I could request, I would really really love to hear the acoustic version of this, guys!

They are currently still performing around the Europe and also recording their newest EP. Get really excited guys, because I know I will!

All songs by The Sunset Strip Club can be bought on iTunes.

We Can't Stop by Miley Cyrus Review

Miley Cyrus is back with a new hit song this summer titled We Can't Stop!

We all know Miley Cyrus is now all grown up with her looks and attitude. This shows in her music as We Can't Stop has more a full treble/loud drum/RnB beat in it and also more electronic sounds and feels to it.

The lyrics also shows that she is over the phase as the sweet Hannah Montana and going to her young adult phase now. If you listen to the lyrics, she goes on about "shaking it like we at a strip club" and "it's my mouth, I can say what I want to". To be honest, other than the chorus, these two phrases are the ones that I could hear/pay attention to. And, don't get me wrong, I don't think this is weird or wrong at all. She is 20 years old now, she can go to a strip club or say whatever she wants, whenever and however she wants.

Song-wise, it is supposed to be a summer anthem since it is released in the start of summer. We Can't Stop has a slow RnB feeling to it but also with element of electro-pop. It would be a lot better if the beat is faster because this would be a good club/dance song if it is a little bit faster. There are definitely more electronic sounds involved compared to her old songs. She also tweaked with auto-tune a little bit, which is okay because she did not overdo it, but it does not sounds pretty as well.

However, We Can't Stop might still be stuck in your head as a summer anthem. It is really really chilled (even though the lyrics is about partying and shaking it up, which is in contrary) and it will be good for winding down after a wild weekend party or when you just want to lay around with all your friends enjoying a lazy summer.

What do you think? Can you stop?

Walk The Moon

The writer just watched them live and would love to write about them for you!

Walk The Moon is an indie pop-rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. It was formed in 2008 by Nicholas Petricca (lead vocal, synth, keys, bass drum), together with Kevin Ray as bassist, Sean Waugaman as drummer, and Eli Maiman as their guitarist.

Their first hit single was "Anna Sun" which was named by Esquire one of the "30 Summer Songs Every Man Should Listen To". It is a very bright and fun song, you can dance and sing along to it and for sure it will lift your mood up and brighten up your day. Petricca said that the song is about "maintaining that little bit of being a kid". Indeed, it is a great summer song or just all year round as a pick-me-up.

The band released their first album "I Want! I Want!" in 2010 and it got really good response as an independent album. Just last year, they signed up to RCA Records and released their first major-label album titled "Walk The Moon". Their first hit-single "Anna Sun" went on number 10 in US Alternative Chart and their second single "Tightrope" sat on number 15 of the same chart.

In terms of their live performance, I would say they were pretty amazing! They all came out in warpaint on their faces and played 6 to 7 songs in total. They were all very energetic, especially the lead singer, Nicholas Petricca. The quality of their performance was great. It sounded similar to the recording, no hit-and-miss, and they were dancing and jumping all around too. They were also really really friendly, they interacted a lot with the audience and seems very humble and nice. It was an amazing experience to be able to take part in their concert! (plus point: if this is important, they were very cute too, ladies!)

One Direction Trained With Real Madrid

The rising stars, 5 in 1 boyband, One Direction went to Real Madrid Football Club practice session to fulfil the request of the football club manager, Jose Morinho.

The One Direction boys (who are into football) got the chance to play on a practice session with world class players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Xabi Alonso and Iker Casillas.

Jose Morinho invited Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne (and possibly Harry Styles and Zayn Malik) to Real Madrid base to train together. Also, Morinho wanted to get some One Direction concert tickets for his daughter who is a Directioner.

Well, I guess it is a win-win situation for everyone...

Musicals Are (NOT) Lame

The writer is currently in an intense practice session of a musical production, which also will be the writer's first ever musical theatre!

If you ever think musical is lame, think again! Musical is a form of art which combines acting, singing and dancing. It is probably one of the most complex art form but it is also one of the most challenging and fun art form out there because you are combining art forms into one. It is a majestic feeling really.

Even if you are a little bit sceptical about it, you must have heard about a lot of different musicals. Les Miserables, CATS, RENT, Grease, Oklahoma!, West Side Story, or The Sound of Music might went in and out your ears at some point in your life. (Please tell me you have ever heard of it because if you have not, I might judge you for living under a rock!)
